Greg Iles was born in in Germany, where his father ran the US Embassy medical clinic during the height of the Cold War. After graduating from the University of Mississippi in , he performed for several years with the rock band Frankly Scarlet and is a member of the lit-rock group The Rock Bottom Remainders/5(84). Greg James, Chris Smith. Greg James is the host of Radio 1's Drivetime show and the Official Chart. One to recommend to fans of David Solomons’ My Brother is a Super-Hero series and Danny Wallace’s Hamish books. Read An Extract. This is the first children’s book by radio stars Greg James and Chris Smith, and it’s a zany mix of.

How you know the bride/groom: Greg is my baby brother—I've known him since the second he was born! Occupation: Attorney Favorite hobby: Traveling the world to eat an amazing meal, visit a dear friend, or see live music (not sure that is a "hobby" but it's how I spend all my free time!) What you're most excited for in the wedding: DANCING ALL NIGHT!! And seeing Greg watch . A taut, powerful memoir of madness, Angelhead documents the violent, drug-addled descent of the author’s brother, Michael, into schizophrenia. Beginning with Michael’s first psychotic break—seeing God in his suburban bedroom window while high on LSD—Greg Bottoms recounts, in gripping, dramatic prose, the bizarre disappearances, suicide attempts, and the shocking .

Gregg Allman didn’t sell his soul to the if he had, the transaction would probably rate just a paragraph toward the back of his new memoir, “My Cross to Bear,” sandwiched between.   This book is designed to be the start of a series, and you can tell by the ending of the book. More or less it gets you to a cliff then just drops you off, which is my one main complaint. There is not any type of closure, which is making the time between the publishing of the two books seem like an eternity for my brother and I.5/5(5).

Greg Bottoms tells a compelling & horror filled story about his family that does not know how to deal with their son's/brother's mental illness and it doesn't help that Michael is not likable AT ALL. I want to read more about this family/illness because the book ends abruptly but I think Greg has much more to say.4/5.

He was going to burn our father alive before the demons completely overtook his soul. He believed our father would kill our mother by strangling her one night in bed; he had seen this in a vision given to him in a dream by a mysterious force named Utok the Angel, who didn't have a body but was instead pure energy and translucent, a wave of colorless.
